Restoring lost programs

The P-21 programs are packaged in the Palm PDA in RAM, or random access memory. Twin AAA batteries keep RAM from losing these programs. If the batteries are allowed to run down for a long time, or if you take more than one minute to change batteries (or sometimes for other reasons) you might find that the P-21 programs are lost. You will know this if the DSI icons are no longer visible at the desktop.

You can restore the P-21 to full functionality using the P-21 system disk. To do this, you must have installed the Palm PDA desktop softwrare on your PC. This software is also used for synchronizing the Palm PDA address books, calandars, and other PDA functions.
