Installation
If you ordered our Software Only option, use the following instructions to install your software.
Directions for Reloading the P-21 System
Note: You may only load the P-21 system into one Palm PDA, owned by you. Any other use of the P-21 system is a violation of copyright laws.
If the batteries in the P-21 are allowed to discharge for a long time, you may lose the P-21 system. You may also lose the system if you are required to do a hard reset of the Palm. If the P-21 system is lost, follow these directions to restore it.
1. You must have set up the Palm PDA desktop on your home PC. This can be done by following the directions on the Palm, Inc. manual that accompanies your PDA. Put the P-21 in the hot sync cradle and connect to the appropriate serial port of the home PC.
2. Inset the P-21 system disk in drive A.
3. Select Start>Palm Pilot Desktop>Install Tool. Verify your user name is correct.
4.Select Browse, then (3 Floppy)A:\
5. Select DB.PRC
6. Select Open. Select Install.
7. Select Install Another File.
8. Repeat 5 through 8 with the following files, all located on the P-21 system disk.
ENTERAL PDB BEEIBW PRC CASLRT pro PRC KNEE PRC OPEN PRC RENAL PRC T4 PRC T6 PRC TEST.PRC TPN.PRC
9. Exit the install program
When you next do a hot synch, the P-21 system will be restored.
